Hmm.. think I should also start trying to add some onion peels. I started composting because I had more outdoor space than I could figure out what to do - compost for free seemed quite a good idea :) So I slowly moved from basic kitchen composting to vermicomposting. So far so good!

Hi Meg, Welcome to the group. Its interesting to note that you feed your worms onion skins. There seems to be a big debate as to whether the worms take to the peels. I personally don't add in garlic or onion peels. Do you find that the onion peels are composted?
