I tend to build my flowthrus where i can test certain theories.Of course my original bin,i can test most on.However this test can not be done without possibly damaging my flowthru. So the new one i'm building can handle the test.My original bin,the front bottom of the flowthru is all that is open. This new one,the whole bottom is open. The original bin leans towards the back a bit from the ground settling, moles, etc. But what i noticed is there is more moisture towards the back wall of the finished vc below. What causes this? Less air flow? Wicking, like when you experiment by sticking a paper towel in a cup of water and let the dry towel extend outside the glass below the waters surface?I'm hoping to find out with this new bin.You can keep it level for a bit. Then use a car jack to raise the front and see if conditions change overnight.Just an experiment to see if it is air flow or gravity that does this. But it is likely the wicking method.
