Vermicomposting, worm bin, composting with worms community and forums

Inspired by Susan Bolman, I've converted to flow through today. Its all recycled that I had hanging around. The bottom is old electric wire, with the middle 2 a wire coathanger for added strength. They are 2" apart.
I also made a micro flowthrough as a portable demonstration model from 2 stacking tubs, bottom cut out of top one, with bars.I'm quite excited to see if its gonna be a great leap forward! Should probably get out more.

He put them on the general photo page instead of including them in his post. Check out

and the photos around it.

Looks great. I'll be interested to hear how it works. I like the stacking/flow through idea too. Using coat-hangers is brilliant. Sturdy wire, free, and long enough for our mini-bins.

My rats are a light brown. I let the worms have all of their bedding. They play well with the 2 dogs in my sideways photo.
