Vermicomposting, worm bin, composting with worms community and forums

Just joined this site. A little history about me

I recently purchased a new worm bin. I found a good deal on The Worm Factory and 1LB of worms. So I purchased and I started vermicoposting. I have been composting with a free homemade compost bin with about 200 worms.

I am not sure what I want to do with the original bin. The colony is slowly getting bigger and they seem to be getting healthier as well. I think I might hang on to this colony and add more worms to it once my Factory is gets bigger. But as right now, I am just maintaining and checking on them once or twice a week to make sure they have plenty of food and the bedding stays moist enough form them to be happy.

If you have the space for both I'd keep them. If you have a major problem with one and you have another bin going it could save you from having to buy worms.

I also have the worm factory and currently have more stuff I'd like to compost than my bin can handle. I'd like to get another going if I can get through my other summer projects.
