Hi Mark,
great looking set up. I tried to go to your web site but it won't let me.
What kind of new bedding are you using in the 3rd bin? Or is it a trade secret, lol?
How many worms did you start the 1st and 2nd bin with?

Corrigated Carsboard prosessed to a pulp and then dried into bricks, its a big process which I have refined and had nice results with, I'm trying to market the Bricks and will increase production as I go. I starded with 3 Kg's worms in the first bin and 4 Months later it is pumping with worms. My web site is under construction and I will post it when ready.

Great set up, those bins really look like they belong in that spot. I'm kind of jealous of people who can do that outdoors. I could but I'd have to come up with a winter solution and bringing large bins indoors is not ideal.

Thanks Rom, I also have the same as in the photo but 3 times the size, most of the big ones are sold but I did keep on for myself.

It's been 6 Weeks since I posted this Blog and am pleased to say I harvested 18 Kg of Wermicompost last weekend, the worms are everywhere you look with lots of pearls and baby worms. I made this box 5 Months ago and feed it 5 Kg of vegi paste a week, the second bin is doing and I will harvist it in about 2 weeks.

Wow, that's great Mark. Which method of harvesting did you use?

I harvested it out the bottom of the Flow Through by scraping it with a hand fork and I was amazed that very few worms were in the vermicompost I found 3 which were put back in the top!

I wrote my first Blog 2 years ago stating I had 3 Flow Through bins, I now run 4 of these small ones and one large unit 1.2 x 2.4 and produce up to 500Kg of Vermi Compost a month.
