I've been trying to leave my indoor bin alone and been doing good. I've just Ben checking to make sure there aren't escapees. Well today, there were a few.
It's definitely moist enough. Since I don't have drain holes it's very moist at the bottom but pretty dry at the top so they can choose where they want to be. And there are lots of worms at all levels.
None of the escapees were adults and the Ph level is about 6.5. So the only thing I can think of is that I never properly trained them to stay in the bin. I've taken the lid off the bin and the light is on. I figure a few days of this will get them adjusted. It was something I never did when I moved them inside as I wanted to contain the bugs. Now that that's under control, it's time.
