up and running---finally!

The first phase of combinationg (27)-5gal vermiponics bucket contents, purchasing worms, combining the contents of 8 makeshift bins by constructing 4 wooden FT bin (2)-4'x2'x2' and (2)4'x2'x2.5', and stabilizing two compost piles for continueous precompost of produce scraps, cardboard, and leaves/ straw is complete!.

Next phase is splitting two bins in a month, converting part of the greenhouse aquaponics system into vermiliponics, and starting up the revised vermiponics bucket… Continue

Steve From Portland Checking In

Hey everyone... Just wanted to share a bit with you as I appreciate all the contributions of others.  I've just been maintaining my bins (no expansion) and have three 5 gallon ones that are full to the top.  It's started raining here in Portland and I've experienced the wandering worms leaving the bins, especially the completely full ones (no more room to add food).  I've got to find some time to harvest them and restart those worms in a bin with more room.

Vermiponics Deep Water Culture Bubbler System
