"I agree, start slow when feeding a new bin. Here is a tip I have for really increasing your herd without too much danger of overfeeding. Only do this if you really like to mess around in the kitchen. Take a paper egg carton and put it on a cookie…"

In a Speech Class in college - 3 years ago, and I've been wanting to do it ever since
What do your worms like to eat?
not sure yet...just gave them some spring lettuce mix and some artichoke
What kinds of worms do you have?
red worms
What worm bins do you use?
made a bin out of a storage bin
How many pounds of garbage do your worms recycle each week?
not sure yet...just bought 1/2 pound of worms, so 3-4 pounds I guess
About Me:
State worker, wife, and mom of 8...only 3 at home, though...just getting in hobbies of gardening and now vermicomposting!
