"Mary, I am glad to hear that you're happy with your worm order. Maybe they're taking better care of customers that come through Amazon. In any case, your husband did great.
Photos should appear right away. Did you try to post it on this…"
"Hello friends! I uploaded a photo...why isn't it here? Does it take awhile to show up?
Yes, the worms were from Uncle J. But, my husband bought me the composter for mother's day and ordered the worms, so I didn't want to make an…"
"Mary, I noticed that the listings on Amazon for red wigglers are actually shipped from Uncle J.. Many folks have had poor experiences with this worm seller. I suggest you weigh the bag that arrives and either take photos or a video as you unpack the…"
In last year's small (15 * 5) garden I had put up some chicken wire to keep the critters out - and it worked. I think that is all you need. This year I made it look a bit cleaner with posts that matched my fence and used ¼”…"

"Welcome aboard, Mary. Try craigslist and your local ecology or recycling center for local sources of worms. You can also try this site: http://www.findworms.com/suppliers/listing/

Vermicomposting is the natural next step if you recycle and have a garden,. That's why I decided to start composting.
I'm just getting started. I received my composter for mother's day, read the instructions, and have filled my countertop compost bin with coffee grounds, egg shells, avocado rinds, and banana peels. I'm going to chop and microwave the compost and set up the bin today, so that it can be ready for the worms. Can I buy red wrigglers anywhere near Elmhurst Illinois (Gardner Larry?) or do I have to buy them online?
