Profile Information

How were you introduced to vermicomposting?
I saw an add in the paper saying they need people to raise worms. I'd never thought of the idea before, so began looking into it, because I like fishing with worms.
What do your worms like to eat?
Horse droppings
What kinds of worms do you have?
Eisenia Hortensis
What worm bins do you use?
Rubbermaid totes
About Me:
I raise worms for fishing, and I try to get them as fat as possible, so I don't feed them kitchen scraps. I feed them rabbit pellets, (cheaper than Purina Worm Chow, but does the exact same thing) and corn meal.
I am also raising worms for educational purposes, and I love to do experiments with them!
