Has anyone ever tried composting mainly with flowers or just coffee grounds?  I imagine if the worms lived exclusively on coffee grounds they would be pretty hyper. Continue

Vermicomposting Demo

I have reserved a spot in the ecoliving area at the Akron Home and Garden Show.  Anyone in the area is more than welcome to stop by.  Warning--I will probably put you to work!

Yes I am still vermicomposting. I have scaled back my feeding through the winter since my bins get full and it is harder to harvest. I will probably start feeding more heavy next month in anticipation of releasing worms to my sheet composting garden. This will be my second year for the garden.
