I have quite a few spiders in my box since it is not totally air tite. They dont seem to effect my farm at all. I think they are there for the fruit flys i get some times. That has stopped since I now freeze my foods.

Thanks for posting the picture of the pipe heater.
The next time I go out I'll stop by at Home Depot or the like and check it out. That's the one I had in mind. Rather pricey for a worm bin.

- Greg, I remember you mentioned that you have no newspaper. That's OK. And you know that you can get tons of cardboard from the grocery store.
I prefer to use cardboard from the grocery store after reading a post somewhere, the worms died after being fed cardboard. Then somebody comented that sometimes packaging get sprayed to prevent getting chewed up by mice/rats/rodent.

- Hi Greg, you are doing a really fine job on your bin there Greg. Especially that ledge to regulate the air flow. I would have just taped some pieces of cardboard to close some of the holes, lol.
I didn't know what a SoniCrafter is so I looked it up. How long have you had it and are you satisfied with it. Do you use it a lot? Which set did you buy (72 piece?) and did you have to buy additional accessories to do stuff you needed to do. I am thinking to buy one. Thanks Greg.
