About my worms

I learned about vermiculture from a co-worker, who actually didn't have a lot of luck.

Subsequently, my son started a bin in NYC, but then found he wasn't generating enough refuse.

Last Martin Luther King Day, I did some volunteer service at Growing Power, and decided to pick up some worms. They gave me a 5 gallon bucket of compost with a nice ball of worms.

I pitched the compost/worms into the standard Rubbermaid bin, drilled a few dozen holes in the lid, and started feeding the little guys.… Continue
