Yeah, my wooden bin is a basic plywood box (not cedar) on the inside covered by the decorative cedar pieces, almost like T1-11.  A friend gave it to us many years ago.  It's doubled as a yard bench too.  Kids really react when the lid is opened revealing the hundreds of sow bugs and worms.

I'm just getting started but have been surfing & reading a whole lot. This has been trickier than I thought but after killing 1/2 of the 50 bait red wigglers I got from Wal-Mart, I think it's getting there.

Good to meet you, Garry.

I loved BC when I was there.  I went four-wheeling around Vancouver Island and I took the train from Vancouver to Calgary.  I really enjoyed my time spent there.


If there's anything I can do to help you with the worm composting, just let me know.  I'm still learning myself, though I'll gladly share anything I know to this point.
