Hello again, I am trying to identify some worms I found close to Gamella in Ethiopia. It is a part of an ongoing project and I am trying to find native composting worms here:Worm 1 was found about 1 cm below the surface in organic rich black soil, which was damp and had a cover of leaf litter. Through research - I am really interested in worm based sanitation
What do your worms like to eat?
human waste and waste from anaerobic digestors
What kinds of worms do you have?
e. fetida, red tiger worm
What worm bins do you use?
A brick 16m2 system based on an Indian design
How many pounds of garbage do your worms recycle each week?
They are proabably up to about 10 kg a day, but this will change when we start feeding them properly

Anyone working with worms in Pakistan

Hi guys,

I am off on my travels again. I am going to set up a worm based sanitation system in a school in Pakistan. I have no idea what the worm situation is like out there. Any advice or connects most welcome.
