Vermicomposting, worm bin, composting with worms community and forums

March 2012 - My husband isn't thrilled that the worms live in the living room, but the temperature is constant and they don't get direct sun. I think it's perfect, though when we build our new house, I think I'll save a corner of the kitchen for them.

Your husband is a tolerant person, just as is my wife. You have quite a nice setup there.

My wife was equally tolerant of my worm bins in the basement, right up to our first major fruit fly infestation. Then we BOTH decided it was outside or nothing for us. Unlike your bins, which look like they're in good working order, mine were in too cool a location, and were being overfed. I take full responsibility for that error!
