Temporary compost bin lining
I also line the inside of my temporary compost bin with some newspaper to make it easier to clean. Sometimes the food can get a little yucky from sitting there... when it does I just pour the entire contents including the newspaper liner into my worm bin and put in a new "liner." This way I can avoid spending time having to scrub my temporary compost bin.

keeping it in the fridge is definitely the way to go.
Except my wife said no. So I have to keep it under the
sink and out of the way. I hadn't thought of a liner that will definitely
make cleanup easier.
