How to update your map entry

You can update your map entry just by click on "Add Map Entry" and going through the same process you did to add it, if you make sure to use the same email address the system will know to update your map entry instead of creating a new entry.

When updating you don't need to re-input all your information... just make sure to complete the "required" fields, i.e. [1] select your location, [2] input your name and [3] input the amount recycled.  As for the optional fields you only need to fill out any fields you wish to update.. if you leave them blank during an update they will just stay the same as they were before.  This way if you just want to update a particular field like your shoutout, you don't have to go through the hassle of re-uploading your photo, etc.. just input the three required fields and your new shoutout.

How to adjust notification emails
If you signed up for the "notify me each time a new person adds themselves to the map" email and it is too much (or you didn't sign up for it and you would like to receive that email)... you do update your entry the same way...go through the "add process" just entering in the 3 required fields.. then when you get your activation email remember to select (or leave unselected) the notification checkboxes when activating it.
