Vermicomposting, worm bin, composting with worms community and forums

Do you compost the shiny pages of junk mail? Magazines? Textbooks with pictures?

I have been. I keep them in a separate worm box, and just use those castings on the lawn and flowers, but I always wondered if I was being too cautious. What do you think?

shiny  pages are  made  shiny by  impregnating  the  paper  with  kaolin or  chalk

if your  worms  ate  it, then go  for  it

I really  do  not  see a  prob  if  it  is  working  for you

Whatever  comes  out of   a  worm bin is a  lot  better than what  went  in
